Hi All, I still seem to have a lack of power on my V8 - this is now after the 9.35:1 comp, H202 cam, branches, gas flowing and weber carb.  Everythings checks out fine and the car runs extremely smooth.  The CO is also right.  I am thinking that I should refit the SU carbs so that I can compare performance - any other suggestions or similar expierences? I agree here, power and torque = cubic inches. Thats why I ask whats the power figures you getting now. It might be pretty good for a 3.5l.  Last year I witnessed a Land Cruiser 4.5 straight 6 multivalve carburettor engine on a 4x4 dyno. THe head was modified by Van der Linde conversions, different camshaft, branches and freeflow exhaust. Power measured at the wheels were 87 kw. That was in 2wd. We have not had it on a dyno - the advise was that I should do 1000km first before the dyno.  But when driving it wont hold 120km/h on a climb - and this was not a steel hill on the highway. Regards Hendri - Ukryj cytowany tekst -- Pokaż cytowany tekst -
